As a data engineer, you will build the data solutions our clients rely on every day, turning raw data into reliable, well-modeled, and usable information.
What you will do
- Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for client needs
- Implement data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse solutions on cloud platforms
- Develop data models and transformations, and ensure data quality, security, and reliability
- Optimize the performance and cost of data solutions
- Work with clients and colleagues to turn business needs into working data solutions
- Take part in client discussions and help grow Teamit’s data competence
We hope you have:
- 7+ years of experience in the IT industry, including solid experience in data engineering
- Experience building data solutions on a cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Good understanding of data modeling (e.g. dimensional, Data Vault) and data warehouse/lakehouse concepts
- Hands-on experience with several of the following: Snowflake, Databricks, Apache Spark, ETL/ELT tooling, SQL, and Business Intelligence tools
- Excellent Python skills and an understanding of CI/CD and DataOps practices
- Awareness of data governance, security, and metadata management
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both developers and business stakeholders
- A desire to develop your own skills along with the growing company

Germany: Berlin
Remote work: Possibility for up to 100% remote work depending on the client project.
Language requirements: Fluent Finnish with fluent English skills are essential for succeeding in the role.
Two different salary models to choose from:
Billing-based salary (50% of client billing)
OR
Fixed monthly salary, ranging from €5,500 to €8,000
