AIExp is Teamit’s dedicated AI experimentation team. The group operates with remarkable autonomy, allowing members to self-direct their research and development efforts. Their work spans several critical domains including user research, design, AI agents, test automation, and cloud solutions.
The Purpose of AIExp
Teamit created AIExp to drive innovation through hands-on experimentation with AI technologies. The team values exploration and learning over immediate results.
This approach aligns perfectly with Teamit’s broader mission to becoming a strategic partner for its clients, by being able to generate practical, forward-thinking solutions faster than before.
The AIExp Workflow: Experimentation in One-Week Cycles
Monday Planning Sessions
Team members select their own AI-related focus areas at the beginning of each week, or continue work from where they got last week. This self-direction ensures genuine interest drives each project. The selection process balances individual curiosity with collective goals.
The team is in close communication with sales and management to help finding opportunities to support company initiatives as well.
Daily Stand-ups
Brief daily check-ins keep everyone informed and aligned. These meetings facilitate real-time knowledge sharing and allow for quick adjustments when needed.
Team members openly discuss challenges, creating a transparent environment where collaboration happens naturally.
Friday Demos & Retros
Every Friday, the team showcases their findings. Every experiment is a success since valuable insight is generated all the time. The week concludes with reflection on processes and outcomes, setting the stage for the following week’s experiments.
Key Experimentation Areas
Research & Design
The team investigates cutting-edge AI methodologies in user research and design tools.
AI Agents
AIExp develops prototypes of autonomous digital assistants and explores how multiple AI agents can collaborate within complex workflows.
Teamit AI Chat
Our own AI platform.
Cloud AI Solutions
As Teamit is a Google Cloud Partner, we have the opportunity to benefit from a wide variety of cloud AI solutions.
Test Automation
The team applies AI to software testing, creating systems that can identify bugs and validate functionality more efficiently than manual processes.
What Makes AIExp Different?
Autonomy & Freedom
Team members drive their own initiatives. This autonomy fosters ownership and creative problem-solving.
Fast Feedback Loops
Weekly sprints ensure ideas move quickly from concept to evaluation. This rapid iteration accelerates learning.
Knowledge Sharing
Open discussions about both successes and failures create a rich learning environment where insights compound over time.
Embracing Uncertainty
The team views uncertainty as an opportunity rather than a threat. Not every experiment succeeds, but each generates valuable information.
Lessons Learned from AIExp
Continuous learning proves essential when working with rapidly evolving AI technologies. Cross-functional collaboration consistently produces more robust solutions than siloed approaches.
The team’s autonomy directly correlates with increased creativity and innovative problem-solving. The team will explore increasingly sophisticated AI agent architectures and expand collaboration both within and beyond Teamit. A healthy dialogue between users, management, sales, and design is beneficial in finding the correct problems to solve.
AIExp demonstrates how autonomous, experimental teams can drive AI innovation. Their rapid iteration approach transforms abstract AI concepts into practical applications. Organizations seeking to advance their AI capabilities would benefit from adopting similar experimental models—emphasizing autonomy, rapid feedback, and open knowledge sharing.
The team is continuing investigating the possibilities of Google Cloud.
